In November 2013 these guys competed at the West Auckland Tournament. Thanks West Auckland Dojo for your hospitality!!!

On the 2nd of November 2013 these guys represented HVD at the annual Friendship Tournament held in Napier.  We always look forward to competing at this event.  Thanks to Sensei Virgil and his team It is always well organised and we always have a great time. We had a fantastic day and all did extremely well in their competitions.  (as you can see by the bling) 

Hutt Valley Dojo took a team to Auckland to compete at this years Nationals and what a day! They were all outstanding competitors and were rewarded for their hard work and commitment.   

A big thank you and congratulations to Shihan and Sensei Takiwa and the North Harbour Dojo on a well run and most enjoyable tournament.  We appreciate all the work and effort put into organizing it. Osu!





On the 18 May 2013 Zech and Jorden two of our very talented Junior students completed in a tournament held by the Wellington Kyokushin Karate Club. 

They both demonstrated great skill and technique and we look forward to seeing them compete with the rest of the Hutt Valley team in Auckland next month.

In November 2012 Hutt Valley Kyokushin took a team of competitors to Hawkes Bay to compete in the Napier Friendship Tournament.  All of the competitors did extremely well, it was a great day had by all.

On Sunday 7th October 2012, our fantastic Hutt Valley Kyokushin Peewees were sent to Porirua Dojo for a friendly tournament. They competed with passion, respect and demonstrated the true meaning of OSU! Our thanks to Sensei Hale and the amazing Karate-ka at Kyokushin Porirua. We look forward to training with you soon!
