Senpai Tania is the Dojo Operator of Hutt Valley Kyokushin. Tania has been practicing Kyokushin Karate for 15 years, She attained her Shodan (Black belt) in 2009 and took over the roll of dojo operator of Hutt Valley Dojo in 2010.

"Kyokushin has taught me self discipline and how to develop strengths and overcome my weaknesses and limits. It has given me valuable opportunities to challenge myself physically and mentally. The challenges I have experienced through my training, have served me well in every aspect of my life. I feel that it has provided me with courage and strength when I have needed it. OSU!".


Joel is the current senior Kyu grade of Hutt Valley Dojo. Being the senior Kyu grade, he works very closely with Senpai Tania in ensuring the Dojo runs smoothly.

"Kyokushin, along with Hutt Valley Dojo, has taught me that your limits can be broken, training has improved my flexibility, confidence and my strength both in and outside the dojo.
